Originally from Toronto, Canada, Matthew Dailey is a director, producer, and writer based in New York City, with a specialization in immersive variety theater and theatrical events.

Currently, Matthew serves as the Executive Creative Director and producer at House Of Yes, an arts collective in Brooklyn, where he oversees all internal shows and late-night programming. In collaboration with House Of Yes, he also conceived "The Devouring," an immersive dinner show at Paradise Club within Ian Schrager’s Edition Hotel in Times Square. This production was lauded by The New York Times as being "somewhere between Cirque du Soleil and a Super Bowl halftime show, reimagined by Twyla Tharp.”

Matthew's diverse portfolio includes producing, directing, and choreographing shows for notable clients such as Fortune Magazine, On The Move, Amazon, Bloomingdales, The Ned Nomad (hailed as “Not to miss” by Vogue), The Stranger NYC, Victoria’s Secret, The Tin Building by Jean Georges, San Pellegrino, Refinery 29, Barneys New York, Broadway Cares, Joe’s Pub, and Amanda Lepore. His second immersive theatrical project for Virgin Voyages premiered internationally in 2023.

From 2013 to 2019, Matthew held the position of Associate Director and Producer at the renowned nightclub-cabaret The Box, working in  both its New York and London locations.

Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, Matthew was the in-house production manager and choreographer for the independent record label Peace Bisquit Music. His responsibilities included artist management, negotiations, and brand management.

As a dancer, Matthew was a company member of Dusan Tynek Dance Theater (recognized as “One of the top 5 NYC dance highlights of the year” by The New York Times), Rindfliesch, and The Daisy Spurs.
